This article makes an excellent point: "The second group is related to daily stress, overwork and fatigue. If these factors are not controlled, they could make you lose emotional stability, leading to anxiety." If a woman going through menopause is not loved in a stable relationship, is not taking medication for depression or anxiety, doesn't do things that comfort her soul like gardening, reading poetry, baths, eating chocolate, etc, and having people stop telling her to lose weight, she will suffer anxiety. This will affect her work, relationships, everything. Comfort. That is the key to overcoming the anxiety that comes from menopause, imho. :-)
