Every article aimed at older women seems to tell them to stop doing what comforts them. Smoking, I understand. No mother has the right to make her children watch her die like that. But eating comfort foods like stews, mashed potatoes, steak, pasta, etc, and taking baths with epsom salts, and other oils seem to be a good thing. So is rest. Enough sleep. So I'm not sure I agree with this Puritan philosophy regarding women and menopause.
