What a relief to know that the sleep problems we experience as a result of menopause are to be expected and that we don't have to suffer needlessly as a result. I particularly appreciated the information on limiting the amount of time spent in bed "trying" to get to sleep. I often just get up and try to spend my non-sleeping time productively. It seems to reduce my stress. Accepting the reality of menopause and sleeplessness is better for me than ranting against it. In today's "pop a pill" culture we may resist taking medication to help with sleep, but this video very aptly explains why it's not a bad idea.
