This is an interesting PDF but somewhat out of date. It's done by the NIH which I would have assumed was more current, however the file states it was updated in 2005. More studies have come out since this time, and the drugs used in the studies provided are no longer necessarily the standard of care for most women. Not all types of medications were noted, (The addition of testosterone in any form was completely omitted) and when phytoestrogens from plant sources were mentioned, there were no risks give associated with their use (hypothyroidism, etc) It's good that this article is comprehensive in the amount of info given, but I would prefer another document that is more current, or to provide several links with more current and more informative links instead. That is only my opinion however.

This brochure provides an excellent education into the risks of cancer from hormone-replacement therapy. With a family history of cancer, I would not have considered starting this kind of treatment.
